My latest podcast is up, covering the issue of primary care.  I have gotten lots of questions about finding a good PCP, but the subject was large enough to merit more than one podcast.  This one is about what primary care is, and the next will cover how to find a good PCP.

Let me know what you think.

Serious bit – I checked “Having a good…good care” and “It’s useful…complex situations”, because part of the job of a good PHP is to refer you to a good specialist when they exceed their area(s) of expertese.

Joke bit – I also checked “Oprah…Dr Phil”, because I really wouldn’t mind having a 1 to 1, ah, consultation with Jenny McCarthy!

I’d have checked “PCPs are useful, so long as you feel that they know what they’re doing when things are other than black and white; otherwise, they should point you to a specialist’.

Though the Jenny McCarthy deal is good, too.
